The Actual News:
Oh boy! Remember these guys?? Yes? No? Maybe so?
Well, back in the olden days of PA!, we had released a set of alternative type blanks to be used. These types included 
Bug, 
Dragon, 
Ghost, 
Ice and 
Poison. People loved them, and they were a huge hit, so much so that we even made Card-e and EX-style versions of them. And when I say “we”, I mean Fangking did all the work and I just supervised.
That said, I think enough time has passed such that I feel like letting you guys in on a little secret… for these five blanks, all I did was mix two other blanks together to get them. Easy peasy, eh? Well, it was SO easy peasy that I was able to remake them using my newly created Neo Redux blanks. I mean, I don’t have a downloadable set of these custom blanks for you quite yet, but when that time comes, they can be made as simply as mixing the two blanks in the way Im able to show you. Check it out!
Er, that said, below I have a handy little table showing the cards plus a little commentary. The blank on the left is the new one using my new Neo Redux blanks, while the one on the right is the original blank from back in the day.

The first of these blanks… in alphabetical order… is the Bug blank. This is created by a 50/50 mix of Grass and Lightning blanks. |

These Dragon blanks were actually the most complex, and I actually forgot how I made it for the longest time… but I later remembered that it was an even mix of Water, Psychic, Grass and Colorless. …I think. |

The Ghost blank mixes Psychic and Water together… but I think I also manually increased the contrast of the original blanks. |

The Ice blanks mixes Water and Colorless, and I think I likewise fiddled with the brightness of ththe original blanks. |

Finally, the Poison blanks were made by a mix of Grass and Water blanks. |
And there we are! Surprised? Impressed? …UNimpressed? Well, that’s just how things are done. That said, the other three custom blanks—Diamond, Plastic and Techno-Organic—were instead designed via creating an entirely unique background, then placing the golden borders and other game text over them. With the way my current blanking system works, I could reproduce similar blanks just as easily.
In fact… because of how easy it is to mix two blanks like this, I might just try and see what mixing ALL the blanks in pairs would look like. Well, maybe except for Darkness, Metal, Dragon and Fairy, since they’re really dark and/or overpoweringly bold that all their mixes will just be only slightly less dark and/or overpoweringly bold. But I’ll still give it a go anyways.
