A Quick Diversion:

The Actual News:

That’s right, the LAST TWO blank types have been completed: :TP Psychic and :TM Metal-type blanks! Take a look!!

And with that, all of the blanks for my Neo Redux series is complete! This also means this is the first complete set of blanks that I’ve made since 2004, with the release of the EX-style blanks I made with Fangking back in the day, which you can still download on the old website.

Now that all of the blanks are done for this blank series, you can see them all together below. Bear in mind, the selection of card types shown won’t be ALL possible types… like, I plan on making more than just “Basic”, “Baby”, “Stage 1”, “Stage 2” and “MEGA”-type cards, but others like “Team Ups”, “Pokémon-V”, “V-MAX”, etc etc. That said, I need to figure out how to depict those in the “Neo Redux”-style… as in, how they might have appeared twenty years back.

Pretty nifty, huh? Oh, and just as a reminder, I’m going to be aligning the upcoming “Space World” fake card block with the rules and standards set with the Sword & Shield TCG sets. Which means that Fairy-type cards WON’T be part of the set, and therefore Fairy-type Pokémon will be treated as Psychic-types. So why do I have Fairy-type blanks? Well, technically they’re still Psychic-type blanks (note they have a Psychic-type Energy icon). However, I plan on using the “Fairy blanks” as a special “flavor” for Fairy-type Pokémon. So gameplay-wise, they’re still going to be treated as Psychic-type Pokémon, complete with Psychic-type energy attacks. However, flavor-wise, they’ll be using the Fairy-type blanks.

One other way I’m going to align my “Space World” fake card block with the Sword & Shield TCG set is by using the “regulation marks” that SwSh introduced. However, the letters I plan on using will have some added meaning to it. Apart from the fact that I’m hoping that they’ll be letters that the ACTUAL TCG won’t use, and therefore underline their “fakeness”, but the letters themselves will add a level of added information about where the Pokémon that the fake card is depicting actually came from. This was a suggestion that old skool PA! superfan, Sylvie Wolf, had suggested to me, when her and I were talking about my “Lost Gold/Silver Megadex” format; that is to say, I want to make sure that the audience for the “Space World” fake card block will understand which Pokémon are actual Pokémon, or are proper “lost” Pokémon, or Pokémon that I myself made changes to. The full list of regulation marks and their meaning are listed below.

Regular, normal Pokémon

These Pokémon are unaltered, not customized, completely normal regular plain-as-porridge Pokémon. I’ll be including these guys to bridge the gaps between some of these new Pokémon or fill in some of the empty spaces.

New but related Pokémon

These are all absolutely new Pokémon, but absolutely related to existing ones. So Pokémon like the unreleased Baby Pokémon of Kanto Pokémon, such as プディ Pudi, which evolves into Growlithe, or unused evolutions of Pokémon that made it to the final release, like ツインズ Tsuinzu, which would have evolved into Girafarig, but ultimately Girafarig was made into a Basic Pokémon instead of an evolution. Basically there is some direct—maybe indirect or assumed—connection with a regular, normal Pokémon

Completely new Pokémon

These are the real deals, the actually completely new and totally never before released Pokémon which ultimately never appeared in any final video game release. Furthermore, there are absolutely ZERO connections with any existing Pokémon. This covers lost Pokémon like the マンボー1 Manboo1 line, the リンリン Rinrin line, and ウルフマン Wolfman line.

Officially altered normal Pokémon

This will denote Pokémon which actually exist, but have a completely different appearance. This therefore covers the more lion-esque form of Porygon2, or the spiky green Cyndaquil, etc.

Conjecturally customized but totally unofficial normal Pokémon

This is a step towards fan-theory, but at least based on what already existed. For example, while the spiky green Cyndaquil was actually depicted in a prototype GS ROM, a similarly formed spiky green Quilava and Typhlosion have not. So if I make my OWN customized versions of those Pokémon, albeit based on established designs, then I’ll use this mark.

OC donut steel Pokémon

Finally, these are the absolutely unofficial, 100% fan-designed, donut steel OC Pokémon. I’m going to avoid using this as much as possible, but maybe I might make up a new evolution of a Pokémon which I’ve always felt needed one, or maybe include one of the classic Pokémon USA designs. Anyways, if I completely made it up from scratch, it’ll use this Z.

Pretty straght-forward, doncha think? Another purpose for these marks is to also give you guys a way to maybe control actual games played with my fake cards. Like, if you wanted to actually include my fakes in a match, but maybe you only want to play with ONLY the proper “lost” Pokémon and any related Pokémon, then you would agree to play with cards with regulation marks “U”, “V” and “W”, and that’s it. Alternatively, if you want to play with ONLY actual Pokémon cards, regardless of their look, and not use any of the newly discovered Lost Pokémon, then you’d agree to play with cards with regulation marks “U” and “X”… maybe “Y”. Makes sense, right?

Oh, I also managed to update the :TD Darkness-type blanks, and even worked out a spot for the regulation mark; it’ll be right above the rarity on the bottom-right corner. Take a look!

Anyways, that’s all I have to share for now. It’s been a hard day’s night, and I’ve been working like… uh… y’know, one of those canine-based pets you humans have. US Humans. I mean, the canine-based pets us humans have. Because I am a human, just like you are. 7o7
